ACCESS Continuing Education and Career Training Centre

This centre, which is part of the Riverside School Board, offers academic courses to help students obtain a high school diploma as well as prerequisites for CEGEP and trade programs. Other offerings include non-credit courses such as French second language and Basic English and competitive career training courses that prepare students for immediate entry into the workforce.
The Association of Teachers of English of Quebec (ATEQ)

Black Studies Centre

The Black Studies Centre (BSC) has been providing a wide range of services to the Montreal community and to various institutions and communiity-based organizations for approximately 40 years. In 2004, in partnership with Concordia University, the centre began a small business incubator initiative to stimulate the growth of local businesses. It is the only program of its kind in the Montreal black community.

First Nations Education Council (FNEC)

Frontier College - Concordia University

Since 1899, the college has been reaching out to people wherever they are and responding to their particular learning needs. It believes in literacy as a right and works to achieve literacy for all.

Huntingdon Learning Centre

This independent, non-profit literacy organization, located in the Haut-Saint-Laurent region, offers workshops in both French and English that include basic reading, writing and mathematics. The centre also offers second language courses in French and English for residents and newcomers to the area.
